• • I’m no stranger to struggles with mental health. The isolating nature of web design or other creative work can be a real threat to your wellbeing, especially if you work alone. Speaking from experience. WordPress web design and site speed might be what some people know me for online, but my formal education is in fitness/health stuff. And my day job consists of more heath/exercise things than it does website-y things.

• • I have a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. I’m a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). And I still have a hard time with own mental health at times. Being human can be hard, can’t it? In my day gig, I help people get unstuck and healthier over time through coaching conversations that help them kick shame to the curb, uncover their strengths, build mental/emotional resilience, and find solutions for crafting the life they want to be living.

• • Expect to see a course from me on the topics of  mental, emotional, and physical health down the road. Eventually. I’ve not seen a course like this in the web design space online. If you think this idea sounds really weird or really awesome, I’m genuinely curious to know either way. I’d like to find out if there might be an audience for something like this.
